About the fund
We are committed to helping ensure that families can attend the Asthma Summer Camp, regardless of financial circumstances. The Financial Assistance Fund is a limited fund and will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis to those eligible to attend the Asthma Summer Camp, taking place in Portlaoise on 4/5 July 2026.
It is intended to support families who may otherwise face financial barriers to attending the camp.
Priority will be given to:
- Families travelling longer distances to attend the camp;
- Lower-income families or families experiencing financial hardship;
- and families who would otherwise be unable to attend without support.
Support will be provided through a tiered grant system, with funding levels required declared by the applicant. The grant may not cover all costs incurred.
Funds will be administered after the camp has taken place and once attendance has been confirmed.
Submitting an application does not guarantee funding, as support is subject to available budget.
