Why we’re taking the plunge

Just a few years ago, Jack’s asthma meant frequent trips to A&E and weeks away from school. Today, thanks in part to the support Caroline received through the Asthma Society’s Adviceline, Jack is spending more time learning, playing and enjoying the things every child should be able to do.

Every participant helps raise vital funds that enable the Asthma Society to continue providing expert advice, patient support, advocacy and awareness for people living with asthma across Ireland.

The Icy Plunge for Asthma brings together individuals, workplace teams and business leaders to take on a carefully guided icy plunge in solidarity with children and families living with asthma.
Whether you’re looking for a personal challenge or a unique team-building experience, you’ll be supported every step of the way by a wellness expert who will guide participants from preparation through to plunge day.
While the plunge is only a few moments, the impact lasts far longer.
By taking part, you’ll help fund services that make a real difference to people living with asthma while joining others committed to creating positive change.
