The “Asthma Inhalers and Devices” poster has been updated by the respiratory team at CHI at Tallaght and Tallaght University Hospital, which aims to improve communication between asthma patients and their Healthcare Professionals.
The diversity of asthma medications on the Irish market can often cause confusion amongst asthma patients. In addition, many asthma patients don’t bring their asthma medications to their Healthcare Professional appointments.
To combat this challenge the “Asthma Inhalers and Devices” poster was developed to help patients better communicate with their Healthcare Professional; about their current inhaler asthma treatment, making communication easier and more accurate for all involved.
The poster is available to download free of charge from asthma.ie and a hard copy can be requested by emailing reception@asthma.ie or by calling 01 554 9207.
