This online shop is operated by the Asthma Society of Ireland (ASI). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ASI.. ASI offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the shop, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site and shop, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current shop shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the online shop and website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

 

ONLINE SHOP TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).  Items ordered from outside the Ireland are not permitted.

All items are sold for the personal use of the recipient under supervision of a local health care provider. Resale is prohibited.

 

MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

 

PRODUCTS OR SERVICES (if applicable)

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

 

ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS

Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

The trade marks, names, logos and service marks (collectively "trade marks") displayed on this website shop are registered and unregistered trade marks of the Website Owner, suppliers, manufacturers and partners of the owner. Nothing contained on this website should be construed as granting any licence or right to use any trade mark without the prior written permission of the Website Owner.

DELIVERY DATES & SHIPPING CHARGES

The vast majority of orders are despatched either on the same working day or the following working day.  Please note, orders placed after 1pm Monday to Friday, may not be processed until the following working day. Orders placed after 1pm Friday generally will be processed on the following Monday.  Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays are not working days.

Order confirmation will be provided to you via email after your order is processed.  Order acceptance occurs only when your order has been shipped.

Orders are shipped from head office at 42-43 Amiens Street, Dublin 1.  Normal delivery takes between 2-3working days.  Delivery dates do not have guaranteed delivery times. Please note we’re unable to ship to destinations outside of Ireland.

Our current shipping charges are as follows and are subject to change at any time:

0-10g     Free
11-60g     €0.59
61-150g     €3.50
151-350g     €6.50
350g +     €7.50
 

In order to confirm that an order shipped via post has indeed been lost, we must wait 10 working days before claiming against our delivery partners. Most lost items are located within the postal system within this period of time.  If after 10 working days you have not received your order, please contact us with your order number and we will either arrange to resend or refund your order.

 

RETURNS/EXCHANGES & REFUND POLICY

 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To return your product, you should mail your product to: The Asthma Society of Ireland, 42-43 Amiens Street, Dublin 1

 

Return/exchanges of unwanted item

It is your responsibility to contact the Asthma Society of Ireland, by email at office@asthmasociety.ie or phone 01 817 8886, to advise us of your intention to return or exchange any item(s) within 7 working days of receipt of them. After this date, it falls solely within the discretion of the Asthma Society of Ireland if a return or exchange will be accepted. Once notified, all items should be received at ASI within 30 days from the date of delivery for this condition to apply. Please note that, once opened and or used, products cannot be returned to us unless the product is faulty or broken. We will not refund your order unless the item/(s) are in saleable condition upon return. You will be liable for the cost of returning items to us. We highly recommend that items are returned via a Recorded Delivery service as we do not accept responsibility for items lost in the post. It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit.

 

Return of faulty or damaged items

To help us process returning goods, we would be grateful if you could supply details of your order number, name, date of order and goods return authorisation code (provided by customer services). If the item is returned without a goods return authorisation code we will be unable to offer an exchange. You will also be liable for the cost of re-delivery and our fees (which may exceed the original cost of delivery). We highly recommend that items are returned via a Recorded Delivery service as we do not accept responsibility for items lost in the post. It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit. ASI will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to recover our fees and expenses from you. Please note that, once opened and or used, products cannot be returned to us unless the product is faulty or broken.

All returns are evaluated before being processed. Faulty items will be accepted up to the manufacturer's warranty terms. This does not affect your statutory rights.  It is your responsibility to ensure the goods are adequately packaged to ensure that they are not damaged during return transit. We will not issue a return or exchange unless the item(s) are in a saleable condition upon return. You may return damaged or faulty item(s) within 30 days of receipt of them. If an item is later deemed to be faulty, normal warranty conditions for that product apply. It is the recipient's responsibility to incur all costs and to follow warranty instructions as stated on the product warranty card as specified by the manufacturer.

 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.  If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.  Any refunds due back to you will be refunded via the same means as when the order was placed and by no other methods. To avoid any charges, all returns and exchanges must include the original packing material, product box, any and all accessories and instruction manuals.
